1984 Bristol 41.1 in Bellmore, NY

Description:

Call Boat Owner Richard [removed phone] or email (click to respond) Boat is lying in Antigua,West Indies. 'Joy' is a Bristol 41.1 built in 1984. Bristol were one of the first production glassfibre boatbuilders, based in Rhode Island, and their vessels are well regarded as heavily built, solid hulled, bluewater cruising yachts. The 41.1 is a 2nd generation, Ted Hood designed, sloop rigged cruiser that can be easily sailed single handed. The centreboard permits the vessel to sail into shallow anchorages such as the Bahamas, and the mast height of 62' above the water allows her to sail under the fixed bridges on the ICW. This yacht has been cherished by the last two owners, has spent the last 20 years cruising the Caribbean with occasional return trips to Florida, and is ready to sail away over the horizon. All in all a vessel in great condition and ready to go anywhere without the need for additional crew. She is fitted with a Westerbeke 52 hp auxillary engine and is fully fitted for extended cruising, including a watermaker and wind generator. Please contact me for the full inventory.
