1982 Harley-Davidson FXR

Here's the Skinny. I have owned this 1982 FXR, First year of the FXR Since 1986, bought from Original Owner. I put Fuel, Oil and Love in her for the last 28 years. She has been a Great Bike. She has been setting for the last 1.5 years in my Garage, Resting, waiting, longing for the Road, She gets Started and ran around my Gated community once a Month just to keep her somewhat content, I can no longer ride her, so here she is for the Next Owner and Adventure, She deserves to be on the Road, not my Garage, She Hates it.The Build List.Stock 82 FXR Frame, chassis. BCR is Well Known for their Head and Engine Work and a Special Shovel motor they build in a 92" Configuration Build they developed. That Motor is a 120hp, 130 ft lb to the rear on a consistent basis, this one Bill said will be quite similar, with a bit of pep as well, Bill did not dyno this Motor, but estimated this motor @ 120+ hp with 135+ ft lbs to the rear wheel. One Engine, One Builder. They Have wrenches that build nothing but motors.Pan Motors built by Pan motor Builders, Shovels the same, as are the Block Motor's, One Motor, One Builder, they are specialized, and can not Speak highly enough of there Work. I have been riding since the Mid 70's, and have many a Mile on my Rear End . With BCR, You get what you pay for has never been more true. The heads have been flowed, and the motor is running an Andrews .485 cam, Jims Blocks, Hydraulic Lifters, the Motor was built to breath, yet be dependable and an everyday rider. The HP is made in the Heads and allowed for a .485 lift cam for overall longevity, and yet, still have the torque and HP to keep up with the Modern Block Motors, this build was thought out for years before I dumped the Hard Earned to her this time, I knew Exactly what was going to be done, and what Parts. She Flows Well. The motor is balanced so beautifully, the smoothest Shovel I have ever ridden. She is Full of Power and Torque, When the Cam comes on ya better have a Grip, not for the Faint of Heart. She Breaths through a Mikuni HSR 42 with a Velocity Stack, and Forcewinder Air Cleaner, Thank You to the Builder and Crew @ BCR, Well Done.Primary is Completely New with NOS Original Equip Inner and Outer Primary found in a dealership here in Florida.
