1959 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper in Dayton, OH

1959 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper

This is a real deal survivor chopper I pulled out of a shed in Ohio. I purchased from the owner who had owned it since 1976, He had it painted and made the customizations throughout the 1970's. The frame is a Harley Davidson and its VERY nice, it has some modifications? The pan motor was changed out in 1988 and is a v-twin mfg..Panhead 80" long block features vtwin crankcase, {No vin number} S&S oil pump and breather assembly, S&S stock stroke flywheel, Timken bearings, stock cam installed with a matched pinion gear. Cylinders are stock with 8.5:1 compression cast pistons and Hasting rings. Top end includes STD Panheads. The paint is blue with smoke, smoke and more smoke, in good condition for the age.. Has some bad spots as seen in pic's. Has the original rear brake and wheel, all the linkage and crossover shaft is there, . I could part this bike out for more money but its ben together so long it deserves to stay this way. We changed the fluids new plugs fired it up and road it around last week goes and stops but needs a tune up??? carb clean??? and a little TLC and you have a badass survivor chopper. bike rolls smooth, the patina is incredible, tires are OK and they hold air, front wheel is a 21 with NO brake rear is a 16".
