1996 Yamaha Virago XV1100 in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Unique 1996 Virago XV1100S with only 1000 miles on the clock since a professional rebuild by Under Pressure, Ft. Lauderdale. Now has 19000 miles on the clock. The bike started smoking a little at 18000 miles. I took it to Steve from Under Pressure and he opened up the engine and found the back cylinder oil ring had folded over itself. I then had them do the following while the motor was open : new piston rings, barrels honed, complete head jobs. Pressed new seats and new valves. Had the carburettors rebuilt. New carb rubbers to the heads. I also had the front shocks rebuilt as one was starting to weep oil slightly. The bike has done 1000 miles since, so just run in again now, in fact ..as new. Never had any issues with the bike other than the smoking a little which I took care of very well. The engine and exhaust is stock standard, sounds absolutely beautiful, and goes like a rocket. I have test driven Many Virago?s with so called loud performance pipes and to be honest, this bike leaves them all in the dust. It is very fast.
