OBO Alto Saxophone Couesnon in Fort Myers, FL

Serial number is 15273, which dates it from the late 1960's, near the end of production of this exquisite vintage alto saxophone. This is a rare find, and has been meticulously overhauled by a pro technician who works for a music store and for a woodwind company as tech & consultant. It plays as it should with all-new pads and corks. There is a dent in the bottom on the brace, which has been mostly pushed back out (see pics). The lower stack keyguard is missing, probably not replaceable, nor worth replacing, for one who knows how to take good care of their instruments. There is minor scratching at the base of the double sleeve for the neck connection on the serial number. The other serial number, located on the back of the low Bb lever, is in perfect condition. There are 2 very minor dings in the neck and the body. The overall cosmetic condition of this horn is average to good. The tone is sweet and quite penetrating, a typical French sound from a vintage era.
