Champagne edition....which was the true top end model for the year.Interior is original with average wear for the age and mileageTires are whitewall tire rings that pinch between the rim and tire.This model is an example of the Beetle at it's most refined state...a lot of things had changed since the first. People scrambled to buy the last cars as they hit the dealerships. It was quite a time for VW. VW even pushed production just a little farther to keep up with the demand but by 1980 it was all done and in the history books.
