Vintage French Desk - Rosewood & Ormolu - Early 20th Century in Hialeah, FL

Here's a magnificent vintage French double pedestal desk. It remains in excellent condition and dates from the mid 20th century. It measures 72 inches long, 34 inches deep and 31 inches high. It's made of rosewood veneer and mahogany with ornate ormolu mounts throughout. It has a nice hand tooled leather top inset writing surface. The drawers have heavily applied scrollwork, wave motifs, ormolu pulls of lion heads and garland key guards. The rear has like decorations. It stands on eight square, tapered legs with ormolu mounts.
