The laptop is fully updated with Service Pack 3 and all security updates. There is Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware software installed and plenty of room for more. Everything looks as if it runs just fine. Also installed is Office 2000 with Word, Excel, etc.
One known problem is the lid switch does not work and so closing the lid has no affect. Additionally, the battery is week and should be replaced.
