2000 American Special Edition Strat in Lexington, KY

This is a 2000 American Series Strat that was used as a test-mule for possible new 2001 finishes and sold as a special edition through Strings and Things in Memphis. It is Transparent Emerald over 2-piece ash, vintage tint neck with rosewood board. Since they went with Hot Rod Red, this may be a one-of-a-kind guitar... certainly no more than a few left the factory with this finish. Very good condition. American standard pickups with Delta-Tone detented tone knob. Includes original rectangular molded case and custom-ordered Levy's green leather strap. $1600
