$2,089 1998 Mazda B4000, Cab Plus, 174k, Runs Great

1998 Mazda B4000 Cab Plus, with cap, 174k miles, runs great, driven daily. The motor has good compression and is strong. This is a very reliable work vehicle. Price $2,089 obo. Make an offer! You might be surprised. I need to sell this. I am selling this truck because my wife and I are moving overseas in June. I am not the original owner. I bought the truck in 2009 with about 135k. I have driven the truck lightly since October of 2011. Most of the mileage that I put on it was before that. This truck has 4 new Yokohama HTS tires, bought last year, which still have very little wear. In the past two years I have replaced the direction and dimmer combination switch, put in new shock absorbers, front and rear, replaced both leaf spring shackles, put in new left and right ball joints in front, replaced the metal brake lines, replaced the parking break cables, and replaced the mass air flow sensor. I have receipts for all of the above. The batter is good. Because I have replaced so many components of the suspension, the truck rides a lot smoother than other trucks of this age. There is some rust around the driver's side rear wheel well. There is a tiny bit of rust beginning to show around the passenger side rear wheel well. There are the normal dings that you would expect in a truck of this age, but no big dents. The interior is not pristine. The guy that owned this truck before me was a surfer and the truck spent a lot of time on the beach. There are no rips in the cloth on the seats, but they are worn and discolored in some places. Also, the cover for the interior light is missing, and I don't know if the light works or not. I have never put a bulb in it. The clutch is sticky, but driveable. The clutch pedal needs to be pumped for the hydraulics to catch. By that I mean that I drive the truck tapping my foot on the clutch pedal, and I can feel the pedal tighten up. Under those conditions, I change gears without a problem. If I don't pump the clutch pedal regularly, then the clutch pedal feels like it is pushing against air (no resistance), and it is hard or impossible to take the truck out of gear. I have driven the truck this way since I bought it (135k, 3 years ago) and it has not gotten worse, it has gotten better. But it should be fixed. There is no air conditioning. If you charge it with freon, you will get 6 months to a year out of it, before you have to charge it again. The heat works, but the only way to regulate temperature is with the fan (hi, low, etc.). The regulator that mixes hot and cold air is broken. I bought a brand new hydraulic jack for this truck, 2 1/2 tons, and a tire iron. I've never had a flat tire, so I've never used either one. The jack is still in its box. I have priced this at KBB fair condition for a private party sale to start. Make an offer if you think it's too much. Please let me know if you have any questions.
