2 rare vintage 1930's 7up Magneseal Advertising Bottle Caps in Millstadt, IL

I am selling 2 rare vintage 1930's 7up Magneseal Advertising Bottle Caps. ~~NO RESERVES!~~ These are Single Ring Element Container Closures by Hooker Magnesen (Died 1944) from Forest Park, Ill. Top marked: "7UP PROUDLY SERVE" (pictured). Sides double marked: "fresh up" with 7up" (pictured). Inside caps marked: "MAGNESEAL CHICAGO PAT. NO [removed phone]". Patent issued June 23, 1936. Measure approx. 1 1/4 in. in diameter. Have orig. rubber inner seals. Minor wear on insides of caps. In Very Good condition. CONDITION PICTURED. I would like to get $75 for the pair. If interested call [removed phone]. ~ "While the general construction of my improved cap may be similar to that shown and described in United States Patent No. 2,045,480, issued June 23, 1936, to Hooker Magnesen and myself, yet my present invention is directed to a type of cap which is not at present on the market and contains certain advantages in construction particularly adaptable to caps or closure members for containers with large openings. One of the principal objects of my invention is to provide an improved cap which attains a high and uniform degree of effectiveness in closing or sealing the openings of bottles or other containers to which it is applied, notwithstanding some irregularities in the size or shape of the necks of bottles or the tops or openings of other containers to which it is applied."
