Penncrest 7X-15X35 Binoculars in Orange, CA

My friend Dave (Murph) is cleaning out his storage unit and he had some binoculars that belonged to is father who died several years ago. I believe these were sold by JC Penny, I'm not a binocular person so I won't be able to answer any questions about them. I looked through them, focused and the optics appear to be clear. The leather case has seen better days, but it holds the binoculars and the closure works. I'm not sure what you'd call it, but the outer ring around the eyepiece screws out and extends to provide a buffer between you and the glass.
