This chip has the MMU and FPU math coprocessor built-in and will give up to 10 times speed boost
for floating-point applications such as graphics, CAD and desktop publishing.
This chip is particularly useful for upgrading Mac LC systems such as the LC475. ('LC' indicated a computer with a CPU that had no math unit.)
Possibly USED but in good cosmetic condition.
