1982 Sears Gamefisher - 14 ft. - New Trolling Motor and Fish Finder in Plano, TX
Description:
Are you looking for a boat that'll carry 2-3 people comfortably? Want a big motor that'll get you where you're going in a hurry? Need a trolling motor to not scare the fish away? Require a boat and trailer that's light enough to be towed by your FWD SUV? Want to catch some fish but need help from a fish finder? Look no further! It even fits in my garage!
I'm selling my 14ft Tri-Hull Sears Gamefisher with original trailer and 25hp Suzuki motor. I use my 2004 Ford Escape FWD V6 to tow this an hour away to the lake and back - it puts it in the water and takes it out without any issues. The boat and trailer are seriously so light that I can barely tell its even behind me when I'm towing it.
This boat is 100% Legal - I have Title for both motor and boat, and the trailer is registered already - expires in 2013. The boat has a 5 gallon removable gas tank.
This isnt your small flat bottom jon boat that wont handle waves - this tri-hull is stable and firm and cuts through waves without issue. And if you happen to take on a little water due to whitecapping waves, don't worry. I've installed a 1500GPH bilge pump at the back of the boat and a 800GPH bilge pump between the middle and front benches. The 1500 is set to automatic and has a float switch. The 800 automatically checks for water every 2 minutes, and I also installed a manual override switch so you can turn it on yourself. The hope is you never have to use them, but the reality is you'll be glad they're already installed when you hit some big boats wake and take on a bit of water.. watching it all get pumped overboard in a matter if seconds is kind of fun. For the non-math savvy, that's 2300 gallons per hour, or 38 gallons per minute, or a gallon of water being pumped out in just over a second.
The brand new Garmin 400C dual frequency 4" COLOR fish finder is already installed and tested many times on the Lake - works perfect!
The boat also has a Minn Kota Endura 34lb thrust trolling motor, which you can mount on either the front or rear of the boat. I've had it in both spots and prefer the rear.
I also have a Trans Mount Motor Saver / Transom Saver installed - it really eliminated the highway bounce from the engine. I'll also include a couple of life jackets and a throwable flotation cushion.
As seen in the picture it has two brand new red/tan seats, but I've also got 2 blue seats. I currently have the red ones on the back and middle bench, and a blue one up front.
They're all stable and have held me and 2 other 200lb buddies without issue.
