Great truck with good fuel economy. Power windows, locks, steering, brakes ? front disc, rear drum, Cold A/C, Quartz Dash Clock that still works, Cruise Control ? (not currently hooked up), Painted Rally Wheels w/ Stainless Steel trim rings. Air Adjustable Rear Shocks, Pioneer head unit.
350 Small Block, 700R4 Transmission, 2.56 Rear Gear Ratio.
156,750 miles on body, 55,000 miles on Transmission, less than 48,000 miles on Engine.
The Transmission was replaced just before I bought it last year.
A new Radiator, turn signal switch, and Class III Receiver Hitch (4 pin wiring) were installed [removed phone].
The brakes were inspected for wear on [removed phone] when I replaced all 5 tires, (4) Hankook Dynapro MT (1) new full size spare tire & wheel. The tires are aggressive for mud, but won?t drone you out on the highway.
The 305 engine blew a head gasket in Nov. 2011. I replaced the engine with a 350 from a 1985 G10 van with about 47,000 miles on it. Crank & Rod bearings were inspected for wear before change over. New Coolant, Thermostat, Water Pump, Timing Chain, Belts, Rear Main Seal, Oil Pan & Timing Cover Gaskets, Plugs, Air Filter, Oil Filter & Mobil Oil. I transferred the Holley Double Pumper Carb. over from my 305.
[removed phone] Serviced Transmission, added Heavy Duty Transmission Cooler, Serviced the Rear Differential.
The newer paint that is visible on the driver?s door is my attempt at trying to protect the door from rust before bad weather hit this winter. It had some surface rust that I ground off, primed it with rust inhibiting primer & rattle canned the correct color, yes the original color has faded that much.
