Truck Camper in Seattle, WA

Truck Camper

RESTORED 1976 Six-Pac truck camper. I believe it is an 8' camper. Before buying this I spent about six months looking at several campers but almost every one had leaks and smelled liked mold. This was the least damaged with only signs of a small leak. I purchased it in 2013 and spent 5 months restoring this camper. I gutted the inside and rebuilt the one corner that had a slight leak. All the damaged wood and insulation was removed and replaced. The entire inside has been repaneled with new shelving, counter top and tabletop built. I rewired the inside and installed LED lights and 12v sockets. It has a new old stock stainless steel sink and water pump. I have a new 16-gallon water tank as well for it. It is 12v only and comes with a deep cycle battery. I haven't been able to run it down yet. For the outside I removed all the windows, vents and aluminum stripping. Most the screws were rusted out. I re-sealed all the window/vent openings and re-installed them. All the exterior putty sealant was replaced and all exterior screws were replaced with new stainless steel screws. The larger top vent is new as well as the rear handle/light. The exterior was also sanded and repainted and all running lights are new and working. I rebuilt 2 of the jacks but another one is now having issues. They get the camper up and down though. The camper is made for a smaller mid-sized truck but I use it on my Dodge Ram 1500 short bed. I believe the previous owner had a Toyota Tacoma. I have a foam foundation it sets on in the bed to clear. I also have a platform on casters that it sits on when off the truck. I am able to push it in and out of my garage by myself. I have always stored it in my garage since owning it. The camper is registered through July 2016 and I have the title in hand. I don't think you will find a cleaner camper for the price. It is a small but efficient space. It's great for family camping or a hunting camper. My family still fits in it (the 4 of us) but it is getting tight. We have the opportunity to buy a friends tent trailer and that is the reason for selling. With all the work I've put into it I hate to see it go. I have several more before and after pics if needed. Please contact by email to start. Asking $1,800 OBO
